Getting Valentines Ready ft. Norvell Strictly Come Dancing Tan

For the first time ever, I decided to really make an effort this valentines day.
Being in a long term relationship, you can stop making as much of an effort and since my life is plastered across my social media and blog, I can really see the difference in how much of an effort I used to make for Sean compared to now.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t feel like I have to try as much because he empowers me. It doesn’t matter whether I’m wearing make-up or haven’t done my hair, he looks at me like I’m still the most beautiful girl in the world so it’s about time I made an effort back.
The lovely guys at Alex Silver PR were kind enough to send me some Kiss lashes (in Hot), Kiss imPRESS nails, Norvell Strictly Come Dancing tanning spray (yes tan) and Norvell shimmer spray.
Getting ready…

So tan… yes I am black but I’ve read about people with darker skin using tan mostly to give their skin a glow. Growing up, all I ever heard from my friends is how bad tan smells, that it takes ages to get on and leaves the bedding’s looking orange.

Firstly, both the Norvella tan and spray smell A-MA-ZING. It tells you to exfoliate before which I did. I’d not advise shaving just before though as it stings! I have to say though, I’m sold (on this tan anyway). It is sooooo simple to use. I literally just sprayed around my legs and the top of my feet. For some reason, my legs and feet are different shades but the tan gives my skin such an even tone. They also glow! my skin looks so healthy and radiant. The shimmer is great to use in the evening. It just makes you sparkle.

I’ve actually used them the past couple of weeks before going out and not once have I woken up with orange bed sheets so winning!

For anyone that follows me on Instagram, I’ve been obsessed with Kiss products for the last year. Their lashes are just the best. So easy to put on and the glue is brilliant. I used to buy DUO lash glue but genuinely, the Kiss one is better. Kiss nails are also so easy and straight forward to use. I have pretty small hands but I don’t struggle at all when it comes to finding the right nail sizes.
The final look…
I may have become obsessed with online shopping again. My whole outfit cost me less then £20 – yay sales!

Dress – Missguided £6

Shoes – Boohoo £9.60

I’m a boob kind of girl and its ridiculously hard to find dresses that can show off your boobs whilst still wearing a bra and look good so this little number is definitely a hit! I also loooove the colour. Its very different to what I’d normally choose but I love how it looks on my skin.

I’ve really fallen in love with the bold red look. I think its very flirty but classy at the same time and although the outfit is so plain, I just love how it all goes together!
Happy Valentines x
